III Reasons to Live

If you were to list out three things worth living for, what would they be? My list would include Cars, cars and cars. So here's one of those cars that is worth living for!

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution has already gained cult status the world over, thanks to its legendary rally history. It is quite the crowd favorite over here in Paradise Island too, been able to attract more fans compared to its rival from Subaru.

Ever since one of these cars managed to beat a R35 GTR at the Green Path drag's, its fate has been sealed. Forever lodged in the memory of many a local petrol head, that win has sent these cars to the automotive hall of fame!
Finding new features for Octane Heads is a difficult task and finding an Evo III was even more difficult. The Evo III is a rare breed on our roads unlike its rival the Impreza but as they say, it's the hunt that is most enjoyable.
I came across this gem of car while trolling Facebook. One grainy black and white shot of this was enough to get me hooked.
Luckily for me, the owner Dilshan is a big fan of Octane Heads. This little white car believe it or not is his daily driver! Oh you should check out the rest of the cars that live under his fastidiousness love and care.
But for now lets concentrate on this!
The most attractive quality about this car is how clean and simple it is. Mind you this is a conversion that could easily be mistaken for an original. A conversion that Dilshan himself did at the back of his workshop during his free time.

The car is mostly stock other than the addition of an aftermarket blow off valve.

And this HKS HiPower exhaust with custom exhaust piping.

A similar brief has been retained in the interior department.
Evocative Recaro SR seats keep you in place....
A period correct MOMO leather wheel lets you attack the corners.
And a very slick RAZO short shift takes care of the gearing.
240 on the clocks tells you this thing means business!
The stance is thanks to fully adjustable D&D Racing coil overs all round.
The vortex generator on the roof is a something the later model Evo's came with, but seems quite at home on this too!
The stock OZ Racing wheels have been ditched for these BBS items.
Finished in a lovely shade of anthracite they really do spruce up the looks of this car.
The overall results are quite stunning. Dilshan has managed to keep things simple and create a unique and interesting ride. Just the way we like it.
I shall leave with this. Stay tuned for more interesting and exotic rides on Octane Heads. Big Thank you to Dilshan Gomez
