#TheResurrection

Project cars can be fun and a whole load of stress at the same time too. Suren's story with his Merc could probably be compared to a dramatic love novel.

Straight off you can see that this isn't the typical classic car restoration. Especially considering the fact that it is a Mercedes Benz.

Over here, Mercs are viewed differently. Regarded highly among the aristocracy, old Mercs are lovingly restored to their factory specification. Many of them fit to enter the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance car gathering.

And then there's Suren's Merc.....

Welcome to the stanced life. A scene which has gained massive popularity overseas. This is probably the first car to truly embrace the principles of living low.

Purists may hate, but this car has managed to nail it in terms of looking just right!

And mind you that is a Static drop.

Little custom touches like these widened steel wheels and Merc 190 hubcaps give it that authentic West Coast flavor.

On a car like this, you gotta have DICE some where!

You might complain that chopping springs is a crude way to lower a car but in this case Suren had no choice. He hopes to install airbags later on for the ultimate dumped look!

This combination of period correct details and

custom touches makes this car stand out from the rest of the W115 Mercs on our roads.

Wood seems to play a huge role in this build. From these very unique looking number plates

To what's hiding in the boot.

The whole boot floor has been tastefully redone in Mahogany!

Wonder how he gets the spare wheel out?

The same unique blend of materials is seen inside the car as well. From this wicker wrapped steering wheel....

To this hand crafted aluminium gear knob.

Under the hood, things have been kept a little bit more mainstream!

The Red and Gold theme continues in the engine bay as well.....

Suren has done a few cosmetic things to make his engine bay look more presentable. An aftermarket filter and upgraded HT leads are also worth mentioning.

Thanks for reading. This is our first ever joint feature with Tricksters. A full video is online, click here to view. Huge thanks to Suren,
